The amount of waste RISD produces each year from excess supplies is immense. Second Life is a program at RISD that provides a new home for previously used supplies. Students are encouraged to donate their gently used materials, where other students can pick them up and give them a second life.

Inspired by this, I sourced all my materials from Second Life and created a shopping back with a playful twist, featuring the Korean characters for my favorite fruit, melons. Working with limited materials made the process more enjoyable and helped fostered greater creativity under constraints.
