Oak and Walnut Wood

Inspired by organisms from the natural world, I explored how basic shapes could be used to mimic complex animal forms. The two prongs supporting the disk closely resemble a rabbit when positioned together (as shown on the left), but when opened, they begin to take after the appearance of a snail (as shown on the right). Through this piece, I experimented with the transformation of form while preserving its functionality.
